white by hopperComment: Something abou thte angle of this photo and all the skin around her face bothers me. Maybe if her arms/hands were not in the photo and her face was framed by a different color it would provide more contrast and work better for me. This is technically a very nice portrait and a pretty face, but it does not tell me anything about the person, which is important in making a good portrait. |

Rageby ZoomdakComment: Interesting, nice unconventional portrait. The red on his face seems too strong and blotchy. Nice effect with the water. Maybe this would have worked well in black adn white? |

Make A Joyful Noiseby ladyhawk22Comment: I like that you've included something besides the person (the guitar) in this portrait. It tells you a little about the person. This is a nice pose, but I don't like the background you've chosen. And the skin color seems a little off, maybe too red? Nice work. |

Favorite blanketby MelethiaComment: Great shot and angle. I wish the paw were a little more in focus as that is the center of attention. But you showed just the right amount of his face and the textures of the blanket (and color) also really complements the photo a lot. Nice entry. |

Into the Mistby StructorComment: Very nice angle and great use of shadow. I don't feel like the textures are as strong as they could be. Remind me of Yellowstone Ntl Park. I love the mist in the upper right corner. |

Worn and Weatheredby karmatComment: Beautiful textures and subtle colors on the wood. The few blades of grass are a little distracting, but overall great entry. |

Agave Blueby sherpetComment: I just stumbled across this photo in one of the "favorite photo" threads. This is completely stunning. I'm adding it to my favorites. I've seen agave many times, but you captured something incredible here. |

Golden Roadby JayWalkComment: This is a great image. Very creepy and surreal, and I hope we get to hear where this is and how you created this effect. It works really well for this challenge. |

Daffodilsby GolferDDSComment: Beautiful still life. I'm not sure I like the reddish yellow cast on everything. I think it would be enough just to have yellow flowers. |
