Vanishing pointby WGN1Comment: I like this shot. The tonality and contrast really work for it. I think that compositionally, it would be stronger with the first section on the left cropped out. It would still take it from large to small and would take the main curves out of the center. 6 |

Stainlessby HOOlovesdrumsComment: This photo was my highest rated on those I voted on. I loved the novel branch idea. The tones are wonderful. The lighting works very well without the wayward reflections that often plague. It has a very strong graphic feel. I'm impressed. |

Aidenby cowcollectComment: Aiden looks like a fun young man. I don't feel this is the strongest portrait. The background distracts pulls me away from your subject. The bright light on the right of the tree also pulls the eye away. Having Aiden in the shade did help with the facial lighting. 4 |

There is a strong glare on her forehead, strange shadows on the face and unflattering shadows on her neck and shoulder. It appears the sun was rather direct. You may wish to try early morning or evening light next time. 4 |
