WalkWayby rjhodderComment: Overall, I like this. I feel it could be even stronger with most of the furthest right pillar cropped out. With the opening centered, the right side doesn't have enough visual weight to balance the mass on the left. 6 |

Vanishing pointby WGN1Comment: I like this shot. The tonality and contrast really work for it. I think that compositionally, it would be stronger with the first section on the left cropped out. It would still take it from large to small and would take the main curves out of the center. 6 |

Stainlessby HOOlovesdrumsComment: This photo was my highest rated on those I voted on. I loved the novel branch idea. The tones are wonderful. The lighting works very well without the wayward reflections that often plague. It has a very strong graphic feel. I'm impressed. |

Anglesby luckyhopeComment: Wonderful colors and tones in this building. You've done a great job of catching a unique building in a unique way. |

Aidenby cowcollectComment: Aiden looks like a fun young man. I don't feel this is the strongest portrait. The background distracts pulls me away from your subject. The bright light on the right of the tree also pulls the eye away. Having Aiden in the shade did help with the facial lighting. 4 |

Sitting On the Top Bleacherby CLarson557Comment: I felt the lighting on this image did not help you out. There is a strong glare on her forehead, strange shadows on the face and unflattering shadows on her neck and shoulder. It appears the sun was rather direct. You may wish to try early morning or evening light next time. 4 |

Tiny Dancerby xylkeComment: Cute girl, nice movement. However, I need some of her in focus. Try a faster shutter speed to capture the eyes in focus while still getting the motion of the dress. 3 |

Fallsby madhatterComment: Beautiful falls and well done at that, but not a portrait IMHO. |

Mission Lightsby PhantomEWOComment: This is a fabulous place. I love the texture of the building materials and the twists and turns they create. I'd love to see the contrast bumped up even more. Still, well done. |

self-1.jpgby kevrobertsonComment: I don't feel the same connection with this shot. Your expression is more closed, the raised elbow is awkward and the signs on the equipment detract from you. I am curious about the use of this equipment. What do you do with it? |
