I like a good bit about this image. The bird adds a very nice touch to the entire thing. I like the way you have done the trees, especially with one clearer than the other. I don't think I like as much the way the trunk of the tree on the right seems to fade out. I feel like I need it rooted into something instead of ending in mid air. You might try cropping it at the bottom where the clarity disappears and see what it looks like. Or perhaps just show less of the bottom.

01 - Tree at Water's Edge

Very nice. I like the looks of the tree. I think I would like to see more of the water in the image mostly to move the tree a bit more to the right and further from the center of the image than you have it now. Of course after I saw that change I might end up liking what you have better.
