Love the star effect, but the open foreground is a little bland. You could maybe have cropped in on the busier backgroung.

Interesting shot. I'm not a fan of the way her hand is over her one eye, it makes the eye look really dark and off balance IMO. Have it drop down a bit so we can see the white of that eye too. I do like the hair in her face, and the (I'm guessing) threads running through the foreground give it more of a dark feeling, as does the grainy, photocopy-style lines running through it. As far as filter experiments go, I'd say this is a success.

The "fire in the sky" effect in this one gets points for coolness, but because of the cooler colors in the smoke, it has less intensity, IMO. Althought the light on the water drop is really neat.

The smoke in this one is really neat. So many varied hues in it, the blues and reds. The green foreground offsets it nicely.
