Complementary Asymmetryby bubyComment: The colours definitely fir into the challenge. You've done a good job to keep the distortion at a minimum For me, it feels like something more needs to be in the image to keep my interet peaked. JMO |

Notesby JRalstonComment: Good colour choices on this image. Incredible shallow DOF is impressive. It would be interesting to see a shot with more of the note pads interlaced. This is missing a bit of the Wow factor for this to have scored higher with me. JMO. |

Irisby smccComment: On first pass through, I think I was overwhelmed with how many flower phoos there were and didn't give this the credit it deserved. Looking at it again, this is a good photo. Nice lighting, very good composition, nice subtle blue and orange. This is is my favourite flower photo in the challenge. Bumping up. |

Strawberriesby Kimberly75Comment: I think sharper focus is needed on this shot to really make it stand out. Also, I think you could have gotten away with a little more colour saturation. JMO |

african violetby suemackComment: Very nice complementary colours here!! Good composition and interest DOF. On the down side for me are all those hot pixels ... little too distracting for me. JMO |

Nasturtuimby OddfrogComment: Definitely fitting of the challenge. Personally, I'm not keen of the composiion. The strong centre placement of the flower makes for a static image, sort of drawing the eye to the centre target. Also, it doesn't appear that any part of the flower is in focus. Finally, the whole in the top right corner is distracting to me. JMO |

tulipaniby DebohComment: You definitely have met the challenge with this red/green combo. I like the composition although I think some miht say that you have broken the ROT with the tulip that has been placed in the centre. For me, the high contrast light is working against you here. The lighting makes it difficult to see and enjoy the details of the tulips and you are getting a ton of reflection from the grass, so it doesn't look as green as it could have. Depending on where the sun was, a polarizer might have helped, but earlier or later in the day would have helped also. JMO. |

sweet & sourby nikmaticComment: I like the idea you have here. For me, the lighting is too harsh and maybe that's why the fruit is more yello than green? JMO. |
