I'm not really sure how this photo "depicts an era in time." In addition, the flower is over-exposed as evidenced by the blown out areas on the petals of the flower. The harsh light really makes it difficult to get a good flower photo.

The photo does seem to match the challenge. The scene looks nice, but the dynamic range of the scene could have been managed better, perhaps with grad. ND filters. The detailsin the sky would have been stronger.

I think this shot could be for that time frame. The modern cars and modern dress take away from the time period. Maybe a closeup of the neon would have worked better and been a little more artistic.
