I think a little more DOF would have helped here. You could have switched your camera to Aperature Priority and increased your DOF by stopping down the aperature to a smaller size (larger number). It just fades to a blur too fast for me. But it's a good effort, and I'll go with 6. (If you already know all this, please forgive my pedantry.)

For this picture, you really needed bourbon, not Scotch. This is sort of like a mixed metaphor-type of thing. Other than that, it's a very nice image. 7

For me, this is too warm. A better white balance would have made this much better. The composition is very nice.
