Sky Lightby keapc08Comment: Nice - I can picture this with a wider angle and Black (Shadow) around the whole image - Would work well I think! |

Niagara Fallsby faragoComment: Damn those basic editing rules!
Would look much better with the converging lines pulled straight. Nice colours though. |

Aunt Em’s and Uncle Henry’s farmby Prime_TimeComment: Nice shot Dorothy!
Awesome shot! I predict this will be top ten at LEAST, Probably on the front page.
Lucky with the clouds, having them continue the features through the lower third of the shot. Dead space (Blue Sky) looks great, though the detail of the farm falls on the thirds too! God that rule works every time!
Nice and sharp throughout - would look awesome in large print.
The roofs of the distant buildings are the only thing that spiol (term used lightly) the image, though I'm not deducting a point for that!

House hunting?by BogiComment: Like the dead space. Colour coded border looks nice too (Actually tried this on my own entry though it looked crap!)
Nice sharp subject and the glow from the distance sets it off really well.
How is the house lit up so brightly, yet its surroundings are pitch black? |

Lost in shadowsby hajekaComment: The odd angle here is killing the shot. If you had stood directly in front of the building (Maybe three steps to your right?), it would have worked better. |

Abandoned and Forlornby ColeyComment: Hmmm - This one is tricky...
The house is awesome. The angle you have shot it at is very appealing, with the three apex's of the roof all visible.
I wished I could use the Skew tool to correct the converging lines on mine, though they seem to work very well here.
I like the model in the foreground - I hate that she is blurred and unclear!
IMO, This image will either do VERY well, or the girl will ruin it for you.
I'll give a 7. |
