In Dreams, an Exitby kdkaboomComment: First thought - seems tilted.
That out of the way I quite like the shot. The variations in patterns and distortions are great while the image as a whole gives a sort of "through the keyhole" impression despite it's obvious scale. The black & white treatment works well too. |

I Can Dreamby NeuferlandComment: A nice attempt at high key. I'm not particularly keen on the purple used for the eyes, it seems too strong and too unnatural. There's also a few too many distractions creeping into the shot such as the collar, and the background next to the eye on the left. Focus is very good and the composition isn't bad though. |

Abstract Hot Mama!by GallatinComment: A nice flower shot. Needs a little more "pop" in the colours and the whites to make it stand out, and the background elements (another flower head?) are a bit distracting. A very tight macro of the coloured area would work *really* well with this flower I'm sure.
Focus is good, and composition isn't too bad though. Keep shooting beauts like these and have fun! |

Scary Things are Following Me!by debitiptonComment: Good grief! It's an alien from the new Doctor Who series?! ; )
Composition is strong, but the near side of the face is a little too dark. Nice sharpness and detail on the feathers though.
A tough subject to photograph, and not one which is going to appeal to many voters (me incuded I'm afraid), but a well taken shot. |

Dream Interpretation: Need to Open Up Moreby CutterComment: ... but opening up on just one side can lead to an imbalance.
I like this - apart from the petal which is lying flat. The lighting on this one petal is too strong giving it some very hot areas, and a different colour cast.
The rest of the flower is beautifully photographed though. The stamen are nice and sharp, and the tips of the petals are nicely *just* out of focus, giving them a nice soft appearance. |

I Dream Of Springby beautyqn25Comment: A fairly nice capture of some pretty flowers. Seems to be caught in the middle somewhere as far as sharpness goes - it's not sharp and contrasty enough to show off the details, but it's not soft enough to create a soft and dreamy effect which may have worked well for this challenge.
The bright light in the trees in the background is a bit harsh too.
Your composition shows you've got the right idea for this kind of shot - keep working on them and enjoy : ) |

Metamorphosisby CantiqueComment: A solid attempt at a bug macro. Suffers somewhat from the muddy colours and the fly doesn't really stand out strongly enough. A difficult subject to tackle - keep trying. |

F r o m A n o t h e r E r aby loveComment: Spooky as heck.
I love the feeling you've created with this. The blur doesn't give the usual motion effect in that I don't really feel like anything is spinning. It's all very "otherworldly" instead. The lines on the dress(?) work really well, as does the B&W treatment.
A spooky-blurry-dreamy-nightmarish-workofart-10-scoring-masterpiece! |

Drummerboyby FalcComment: You have strange dreams for sure - lucky you managed to find an old army camp complete with drummer lying around ; )
The selective focus and selective desaturation both work really well on this shot to create a nice muted effect. Not a photo that leaps out and grabs me, but well shot and presented anyway. |

At the balcony of heavenby marvinComment: A superb cloud formation - ideal for the challenge. Strange that the clouds seem so muddy in most of the frame though. A good strong curves adjustment would have worked wonders for me here.
Good placement of the subject, though at this size lacking in detail. |
