Heronby IronworkerComment: I submitted a very similar shot a while back. Yours is better than mine was, but also guilty of the same flaw. In a challenge with so many crisp, sharp birds (even in flight) this is just too soft. Good luck. |

Dueling Goldfinchsby rodfulkComment: This must have been amazing to witness. It's such a shame that it is not sharp enough. This looks to me to be a fairly small crop of a larger, soft original. Either way - not enough to work with to produce an image that does the scene credit. |
