"Look! I Lost My First Tooth!"by Jaded_HousewifeComment: terrific contrast here, and her beautiful eyes just JUMP off the screen! the hair on her face doesn't bother me but, strangely, the small white spot next to HER right cheek is terribly distracting.
regardless, this is stunning & there's a family somewhere who will cherish this for years to come. |

Deep in thought...by NowaytotellComment: I'm afraid the harsh lighting (and some distracting BG elements) hurt the scores on this one. Softer lighting (less direct), and turning the subject 45 degrees would have produced more flattering results. Her eyes toward the camera would give this emotionally stronger.
That said, I also think that you can easily improve on this as your subject has her own unique beauty that should be explored. Keep going! :) |

Baredby Jaded_HousewifeComment: YAAAAAAAAYYY!!!!!!!! i am very glad to see you overcome your fears, and wish i had the strength to do the same... hmmm - maybe some day
superb use of focus, and i agree with you about the hand; funny, as i saw your mouth / face / hand & HEARD you saying "what am i doing" !
i think you are a beautiful person, regardless of what you may see in the mirror, and you should be proud of yourself for pushing that invisible line a little further
BTW - what in the hell did you do to make your wedding band POP like that?
