Three Speed Boyfriendby lkn4truthComment: Bravo!
I get so sick and tired of hearing/seeing comments like 'family site'.... wtfe! Forget the prudes, label it adult & let the rest learn how to monitor their children's internet activity. Plenty of us do NOT have a problem with the content, so please continue to entertain!
Congratulations on a colorful capture with good details - and a pretty good job overall, given the Basic Editing. Plus, it already sounds as though you've learned something about lighting, and THAT seems to be the entire point of DPC (to challenge yourself, as well as others). |

Tulipby silverscreenComment: Beautiful saturation of your image, and I'd definitely be putting that on a wall somewhere in my home (preferably a large print!), if it were mine... |

Hope Fading, Judgment Failingby ericwooComment: Eric, this made me stop to look - great job! I've been trying to play with B&W myself lately, and yours is something to strive towards...
BTW - Nice Ruger. Looks like the GP-100? |

Mi Amorby facesastheycomeComment: You've done a great job of making the hat a major component AND including a simple, beautiful image of the one you love. Congratulations on a job well done, and capturing something worth remembering. |

I'm Not Smiling Right Nowby yakatmeComment: Yikes!
I can only imagine the humilitation and embarrassment - for both you AND the subject. Then again, maybe his parents simply laughed it off. Besides, who knows the funny stories that may develop over the years; "Remember the time that crazy photographer took pictures of..."
(In no way is this meant to belittle the emotions of the photographer responsible for this image, or the young subject - only that it may not be as bad as first considered...) |
