from my wineyardby gocComment: Lucky you! Part of me wishes I could see the greens that must be here, but perhaps you used duotones to minimize something you didn't like? If it were mine, I might tweak the curves a bit to get more range of tone - and try a non-yellowy hue to make this gorgeous vista look more vibrant. |

Breakoutby sherpetComment: Really great idea! I'm finding the pattern on the glass and on the orchids to be a little bit of sensory overload. I wonder how this would look with reduced sharpness or with either the plants or glass having less complexity. Love the weathered window frame and the old latch. |

Dendrophobiaby messerschmittComment: I take this shot all the time, can't help myself. It never comes out like this though! Wonderful detail and the coloration chosen was perfect for the challenge. |

hommageby messerschmittComment: A pomme-age hommage... gorgeous hues and what a way to show folks how well centering can work for the right subjects. Excellent choices. |

Male Wood Duck 2by MacDonaldComment: Wow, how clean... do tell, is it neatimage or did you bribe the duck to hold his breath? I have the Tamron version of the lens you used for this but darned if I ever get such crispness with it!
