Oranges ala Golnazzz

Comment:
your color seems to be a little on the dark side, but good saturation. this would have been better with a deeper dof on the oranges to bring out more texture and sharpness. maybe also use a smooth surface instead of the cutting board. I like the composition and balance

your colors look great and you used the same composition as the original. not so sure I like the texture of the cutting board, especially where it is highlighted at the bottom by your light. this is a hard shot to do, but maybe a deeper dof would help on the fruit and not so much water pooled around the bottom. I would love to see a reshoot - this is very close

hmm... I think you picked a very hard photo to redo - the subject matter is tough to make look good. however, I think it could be better if it were more in focus and possibly from a different angle. I'm also not too keen on the border.

great remake - very clean, nice composition, no harsh reflections, soft shadows. the only thing that could make this photo better would be more interesting silverware - but that's hard to do : )

lol, what a great photo to reproduce. I would have liked to see everything left out of the photo except the butter and possibly the plate it's on. your focus also looks like it's on the can and bottle more than the butter. these are all detracting factors. I would be interested to see a reshoot of this with just the butter up close and filling almost the entire frame.

not sure if you're referring to this photo: but I'm going to assume yes.

as for this photo, I think that the glare (I'm not sure what it is) in the bottom left destracts from the photo - it's advanced editing - you could clone it out. I think you could have gotten a cleaner shot of the moon too, maybe by using a higher aperture, or faster shutter speed - or a tripod if you didn't use one. I like your composition and I would like to see this shot done again - it has real potential.

mmm, juicy. definite improvement over the original. I think that your dof is fairly shallow though - it would have been nice to have all of the photo in sharper detail. good composition

much more in focus and technically better than the original. I think you could have done more with your background - either used a color, or dodged it completely white. You may have also tried reducing the glare, though that's pretty hard to do.

Comment:
a deja vu of a deja vu, interesting : ) Did you look up the first original? anyway, this is a definite improvement over the brown ribbon one. it's hard to photograph jewelry (or other shiny things) though. It's hard to control the glare and to hide every little scratch or fingerprint. I would have liked if your focus on the dial were a little sharper though I give you props for attempting this shot - I couldn't pull it off

not sure about the grainy-ness or the type of border, but definitely an improvement over the original. I like your title and your composition - it was probably hard to get your kitty riled up like in the other photo, lol
