A very peacful and still shot. The lighting and exposure is very nice. I like the leading line of the path to the ship. I'm wonder if a tighter crop on just the left half of the image would have been more appealing. I'm not sure that the right half of the image adds much visual interest.

I like the soft focus of the shot and the nice control of DOF. My first reaction was the I would have liked a tighter crop but I like the touch of muted color of the blossoms at the top as well.

Hmmm, I'm not sure about this one. The severe DOF sort of plays tricks on the eye making it hard to focus. I like the colors though.

Nicely captured. I really like the mood of this shot.

The story I see is of a father and son. The dad and original owner of the establishment has passed the torch to his son. In this moment the son is lost in the contemplation of his destiny while the dad is enjoying the simple rewards of his retirement.

Either that or the son is just saying "I can't believe I ate the whole thing".

Very nice balance in the lighting. It would have been easy to blow the detail in the blossom or loose to much in the shadows. I like the contrast of the dark background to the white blossom also. Nicely done!
