Into the Windby shamerComment: Your subject blends too well with the lamp post. A step forward or backward would give better contrast to their silhouette and provided a much stronger composition, IMO. |

Man in the moon through the treesby jblaylockraynerComment: Wow, this did worse than mine! I'm almost embarrassed to admit that, but then, there were quite a few people voting in this challenge that have no idea what depth of field is. I didn't vote on this one, but this clearly meets the challenge and is deserving of a much better score. Better luck with the voting crowd next time! |

"S" is for Sleek and Silky by SandyPComment: Hehe, yes that was mine sandy... and I was worried I gave myself away with my comment below ;-)
And for the record, I live in Vancouver...if you look at my outtake, I never left the mountains:
Like I said, as I was walking along the beach I saw this heron, and once it let me get real close, I got rather excited at having the opportunity to get a photo like this one! I have to say though...it is cold and windy on Vancouver beaches in January! |

Hey - Can't you see we're talking here?by timfythetooComment: I think this is the best of your series; your title adds an extra dimension to this excellent photo that made me laugh out loud. That cardinal actually looks annoyed! Congratulations on your strong finishes. |
