That spiky center creates a nice pattern that I find interesting. I really like how the colors seem to transition in somewhat of a spiral fashion from the inside out. Wish the center was in sharper focus and more luminous.

Day 8 - Bluebells

The texture of these petals reminds me of tissue paper. Colors look just right (even in what looks like full sun),love the water drops... my eyes are especially drawn to the flower showing the stamens.

Damn scenery! Reflections in the water are great.
Aside from brightening up the florals, I might have moved (pulled/trampled?) the flowers on the left and right and composed this with just that one slender stalk.

A vertical crop is a good choice to showcase these flower spikes, but perhaps from a slightly different POV. I find it difficult to distinguish the front one from the two that are right behind. Maybe find a single one with a more shallow DOF so that the background does not detract.

I really like the shape of these flowers, but I don't care for the spots. They seem too saturated with color. Rather bizarre that you can't see them on the outside of the petals.

I like this even better now that I see 3 hummingbirds. Love the blues/violets against the green background. Not too much can be done (at least to my satisfaction) if it starts out OOF.

Zinnia

Wow - I've never seen a zinnia with this kind of variegated colors. I wonder if it's created with viruses, like they do tulips?

I tend to have to reduce the blue channel in curves with many of my photos because I think out of the camera, they have a green cast. This also happens when I increase saturation and adjust levels.
