It's a beautiful ride on a bike up through the UP. I'm originally from the northwest side (up in the Keweenaw) and did a 2 week photography/camping expedition across the UP on my old '80 Suzuki GS850 a couple of summers back and it was a blast. I did stop in Munising, but only grabbed a couple of shots of Miner's Castle. This shot of yours shows how much I really need to take one of those sunset cruises there (I still go up at least twice a year).

Wow - that's really cool! Man, very hard to tell what it is. The reflections really do a good job of hiding it... it almost looks like something encased in ice surrounded by frozen bubbles, but that's about as far as I get...
