Amazingly, nothing in this shot is in focus! This is a lensbaby shot with a homemade heart shaped aperture ring. The out of focus heart shaped bokeh was created by shooting at a wet screen door with an AB400 behind it.

Shot in RAW: adjusted exposure and white balance

Nice painterly effect. Look forward to reading how you did this

Very cool! I think you could have cropped off the left part where it's blown out.

I really, really like this image. I can't wait to see how it was made. I expect it will not score especially well, but I gave it a nine. I particulalry enjoy that you resisted color-shifting to the warmer end of the spectrum. Good luck

I love this. The mauve to blue colour, the soft focus and the twinkling effect of the hearts all combine to make a lovely image.

Beautiful. I liek the colors and the sharpness of the hearts. Well done.

Very nice, I typically don't care for abstract images, but this one works. I am not sure about the extent of light/dark changes across the image. It almost fades to white on the top left and to black on the bottom right....a more subtle and less extensive change might have been better....but a high score for this one.

Very pretty! I think the world (and DPC) needs more blurry shots like these.

Great idea and a good choice of color. The only thing I could complain about is that IMO it shouldn't have faded quite as much in the top left corner. A smoother transition would have been better for me.

Wow, really beautiful! I love the colors and the title and the tons of hearts all crowded together!
