I like the way this filter has popped the subjects right into the foreground. Its almost sketch like. In fact I like it a lot. Would be good, as you say, if noise could be reduced in the background.

These are amazing Anne. I'd like to see more of your shots at the pow wow. The ornate traditional dress is something missing from Australian culture. These are really vibrant. Nice shots.

Looks like a really nice lens Colleen. Nice and sharp. Isn't it funny how much of a work out these brooms get on road work sites. If they could talk they would be able to retell some amazing stories. lol Looks like the guy in the foreground is questioning the reasoning behind you taking a photograph 'on the run'. Maybe he is envisaging a sinister plot to relay the lack of productivity to his superior. Be vewwwy vewwwy careful.
