athletics stadium at homebush bayby rozComment: Your image really conveys a sense of hustling and bustling that you can feel behind the scenes at sports competitions. A great capture that is well suited to B&W - in color, there would be too many distractions. |

Rose of Remembranceby NikonJebComment: I like the smoothness of the petals and the soft light. A good way to honor and remember your father-in-law. |

Day 9 - Owlby ephlnComment: Love this a lot! The details in the feathers, the eyelashes (so clear!), the tones. I don't really mind that it is not looking at you - it makes it look shy. This is just great! Good job! |

Day 08by lilkarebearComment: Nice dog. I really like the look of the fur after the B&W conversion - makes it look silky. Maybe rotate the picture to really put the focus on its eyes? Horizontally like this, I think it gives too much emphasis to the nose... |

Day-8.jpgby ivale28Comment: I love bridge pictures and this is no exception. Love the lines, the shadows and the couple at the end of the line! A great shot! |

poppy and beesby sfaliceComment: OOOHHH! Soooo very nice! I love the silky look of the petals and the "glowing" heart. I prefer this crop to the other one but I would have cloned out/cropped in tighter on the left to get rid of the stalk we see there. The rest is just magical. I love poppies! |

Day 8 - Different Pathsby CapeSailComment: WOW! I love how the curved handrail seems to merge with the arch above the door. The texture of the wall is wonderful too. The only tweak I would have done was straighten the shot. It seems to lean 1 or 2 degrees right. But it's not keeping me from really enjoying this. Message edited by author 2007-09-09 20:23:56. |

After Hoursby GermaineComment: Very cool. Love how you placed the curved counter to lead us in the frame. I don't know if it is flare that we see in the top right corner - could be just reflections from an out-of-the-frame shiny object. I would have cloned it out, no matter what. Lovely lighting on the stools' legs. |
