Day 02by Dirt_DiverComment: Love the lighting. The mailbox looks like it's glowing. I would have tried to get rid of the dark area above the mailbox. Looks to me like we're losing some details from the top of it because it is against such a dark background. Just my opinion though. |

Corridorby banmornComment: Great textures on the ceiling and perspective. What truly amazes me was that you were able to "see" this picture-worthy subject when so many (me included) would have just went by... |

Day 1 - Apprehensiveby photokariangelComment: Love the tilt you gave to the composition. I've to many airports myself and have never been able to come up with a way to jazz up this simple subject. The look of the lady is so sad, you wonder where but especially why she was going where she was headed... |

Along the Sciotoby timfythetooComment: This is so funny!! I was in Columbus last July on a business trip (florist convention) and shot almost the exact same image - see my protfolio in "Places I've been". But I like the reflection of yours better than mine. |

'ol red barnby ccombsComment: I see that this was your first challenge so i was probably right with my guess that you might need some help preparing your images for the web. Let me know if you are interested: I'd be happy to give you tips. keep working at it. You do have an eye for composition and would have done much better if the picture had been better quality. Golden Fieldby gg3rdComment: You probably had to underexpose so as not to over blow the highlights in the clouds but the result is that you end up with grayish fields where we expect gold. Shots like this are exactly why there are graduated ND filters and/or neutral gray, gradient layers in Photoshop. otherwise, your composition is good, with leading lines and good use of the rule of thirds. Keep it up! |
