Nice close-up - petals are super sharp and it's a great example of the power of the rule of thirds composition. The part in the bottom left corner might be a little busy for me - I'd love to see this cropped to concentrate on the flower.

I loved this very much... until I saw it in COLOR!!! It's just amazing. Now I love it even more. Clear and sharp all around with a great tonal range. Wonderful shot and sure to be in week 3 merit awards.

I knew I was going to love this right from the thumbnail - and not just because I love gerberas! Wonderful tones, glowy petals, very sharp yet there is a softness to them... Totally envious of the PP you did to this shot. Thanks for posting the steps - I will definitely try them.
