Sillouetteby WendyWooComment: I would love to have seen more of the church as a whole so that it and the trees are silhouetted against that sky. Otherwise a lovely feel to the shot. |

Wheel in a Streamby hazeComment: I thing a tighter crop using the rule of thirds would benefit this shot. Otherwise a nice shot. I like the blue tones to the shot. |

Brave New Worldby hazeComment: All the greys are too similar. A bit more contrast and variation of greys would have looked better, ie the sand a lot whiter, the ocean darker and the sky a combination of both. I like the selective desat. |

bird1.jpgby cynthiannComment: I like it too. I think a different crop would have been better. Maybe a longer crop. I would also get rid of the pelican in the background because it ruins the shot for me. The photo is very clear but possibly a little bright. |

Say Hellooooo to Mr Goedeby JaimeVinasComment: Hmmmm. Interesting portrait. I dont think it quite fits the challenge but good photo all the same. I see you've used a lense that distorts the portrait. This is interesting in a good and unconventional way. Looks like someone on the other side of the door looking through the peephole. I guess that I was hoping to see something that is markedly disassociated from the rest of the picture. The subject takes up about 80% of the frame not leaving much room for isolating it from the rest of the scene. Thats why I feel it doesn't really meet the challenge for me. |
