The high key processing has emphasized this adorable elder's eye - he looks so gentle - you did a very nice job of working with a blown out sky - I can only imagine how precious he is to your grand daughters and you have given them a precious keepsake. Matt, what a lovely shot - you caught her mouth at just the perfect time so her pose adds to her natural beauty .. I know you are a busy man but would you fill in details on how you lit this .. I think I know but the shadows you left in are just perfect and adds a depth to the shot.

I like the patterns on her shoe and how you see the whole sole - the twisted up bit of leash in her hand also adds interest - the light shining in her hair is lovely too .. a nice slice of life that is often missed as we rush about.

Amazing difference a few f-stops make (smiles) I think it's a great idea to shoot at different settings and figure out for yourself what you like .. what I might like is really not important - it does look like the brighter light on her face is part of a vignetting effect but boy have I ever been known to be wrong. :)
