She Sells Sea Shellsby KarenBComment: I like this shot in black and white. I think if the really smooth shell on the far left (or it looks smooth) was between the starfish and the shell on the right, it would show the contrast of the textures even better. |

Smooth as Grassby AaronComment: this is a case where I don't like the narrow depth of field. I think the picture would be better if ALL of it were blurry. But that is my opinion, and I suspect I am in a vast minority. I like the colors. It has kinda a dreamy quality to it. karmat I'm back. I just noticed something else I liked about this picture (subsequently moving it up a vote). The position the cat is in automatically makes me look into the distance to see what it sees. I just really like this picture. |

Arborescenceby DezComment: Looks like something I grew on jello once. :-) Good use of lighting so that the top is not completely blown out. I think just a touch more light on the front would help a little. karmat |

Lovedby FrooberComment: I had no clue until you posted in the forums. I'm still not sure . . . . . . hahaha Black and white works well, I think, and other aspects of the picture are good too. It's just a weird subject. :-) karmat |

Curvatureby KonadorComment: That's interesting, but a little washed out on the left. If that is what you wanted, good job, if not maybe play with different ways of lighting things. karmat |

Guest of Honorby myqylComment: Adjusting the contrast a bit on this would really make the colors stand out, I think. I like the tennis ball in the cup. Reminds me of some of the things i used to do! |

Anatomy of a Pepperby drewmediaComment: Too cool of an idea. Who would have thought of taking a picture of the inside of a pepper. (Well, you of course) I love how you even captured the "veins" on the sides. Good job. |

Get in Your Corner!by CreativeFlyPhotoComment: Good focus and lighting for this kind of situation. There is alot going on in this picture. Maybe choosing one element and focusing on it would improve effectiveness. Or if you had changed the angle just a little so that the people across the ring didn't have a rope across their eyes. karmat |
