induced theme. under implication of the challenge theme. should be able to determine the theme even without the title. lost marks because of that. otherwise, great shot. good composition and pattern. slightly underexposed. good use of fore-background. 4

great colour and texture transitions. smooth is held in composition by the more defined lines of the center. crop could have been better. image is slighty off center. if you where going to offset the center, might be better to be a bit more obvious about it. (IMO and my preference only). good illusion, center transforms between cirlce and sphere depending on perception. great colours. very good entry. 8

lost marks for originality, but great macro. good focus (could be a bit better), reflection is distracting, lighting makes right side of eye distractingly dim. good entry though. 4

one of my favorite shots of the challenge. good orientation shift. provides new perspective on a tradition theme (vertical spider positioning). focus is perfect. great use of shallow depth. off centering brings attention to both the spider and the web. brilliant. spider is facing bottom left, gives technical merrit, lost marks for a slight under-application of the challenge theme. , but otherwise, this shot deserves a ribbon for another challenge. 8, but one of my personal favorites on this site.

I love the representation of the forground rocks on the sphere. The subject seems to draw the viewer into the depths of the 'inner world' you aptly describe. great focus and good use of centering the subject; it really directs all of my attention deeper because of that. 7
