I like what your trying to do here, but I think you got too much sky, and not enough of the town (assuming there is something more to photograph). I like this photo nonetheless. Might have been better on a clearer day, those bright houeses would have looked great, but you only got what ya got. 8

Excellent. My fav so far. The darkness around her mouth (though many will not agree) enhances what the title states. This image is very clear, and well saturated. The pattern and color of the fabric on her shoulder make her dark, and foreign looks, even more beautiful then they already are. Composition is great, I would have liked to see a little less light around her eye perhaps, but thats my only quibble! Awesome work, 10!

Should've save this for the 'At rest' challenge! NIce shot though, love the warmness of the red light, really reminds me of the warmness that I associate with sleep.

I love the composition of this photo. It is so simple, yet so meaningful! The age of the handcuffs help make it so effective, as well as the aged look of the flag. Very nice, one of my fav's of the challenge. Would like to see it with a border, as it is such a tight crop! 9

I'm not sure what these names are. Are they people who donated money to a landmark? Members of the first ever Terry Fox run? or what? I think more is needed in the photo to help it make sense. I do like the composition with the man being viewed through the glass though! and the image is very sharp and clear!

Despite me being against the whole american flag as a symbol of freedom thing, i love this photo! It's well executed and sends out a clear message! I might liked to have seen the photo converted to black and white, while keeping the flag saturated, this might have made the flag even more prominent in the eye. I'm gonna have to give you a 9 though, instead of a 10, just because of my difference to the american flag issue!

I think your mistake on this one is not considering audience. You've automatically narrowed your audience by including an american flag in the photo, as many of us (including me) do not view the american flag as a symbol of freedom. I like the idea of the photo though! The composition is simple and effective, would be nice to see the words straight though.

I can't say I understand the topic of this. Perhaps it is just a difference of opinions or interpretations of the challenge. I like the composition of the photo though, the clouds are nicely achieved. I would have liked to see a tighter crop though!
