Old Home Placeby WildflowerJoyComment: Really well put together. I like how you maintained the color and still achieved a sense of desolation. The green foreground really offset the rust red of the truck (car?). And the shadowy entrance behind it really give this a sense of perspective! |

aloneby GinaRothfelsComment: Wow. I'm impressed that you could convey so much feeling in this one and you don't even get to see the expression on the subjects face. Wonderful textures and the colors help to set the mood. Really nice! |

Solitary Thoughtsby elliottwhitleyComment: Very nice framing on this one. I think I would have tried to have more in focus in a shot like this but don't know if it would improve it or not. Just curious though, is the person in the picture with you or was it just some one who was there??? |

Alone Againby patriciabrown2001Comment: The booze bottles and glass in the background are an awesome touch of detail in this one. This is so far the best example of the sadness interpretation of desolation that I've seen. Oh and I have a weekness for redheads! ;-) |

No Snow Yetby hjaltiComment: Not sure what it is but this does have the feeling I believe belongs in this competition. I think it might be the silouhette effect of the wires and poles! |
