I like the gradient colors in the BG. So many color tone. But at the same time I think tree is little blur. Also, Too tight crop. I would have liked to see some more surroundings.

This seems blurred and unclear. I think most of it is due to the use of excessive JPEG compression. I can also see some artifacts around the edges of the silhouette. Your file size of only 76k indicates a highly compressed image and that is what is robbing most of the detail and sharpness from this image. Check your compression settings when you save your file. Always adjust JPEG compression so that your file size is as large as possible, but within the challenge limit. (200k for this one)

Colors are fantastic and I love the silhouettes. The negative- the focus is soft. Try using a tripod or rock, car hood anything to steady the camera.

I am sure the shot has a lot of meaning to the family but with that being said it really just comes off as a snapshot family photo which is not likely to score well on this site.

This could be a really touching image if the woman were looking with love at the child... but her eyes are closed. His hand is also cut off...and the flash is making harsh shadows. Try again! I think this will be a good scene to capture.

The lighting's harsh, and the kid's head and arm are clipped. Wish we could see his face. Not the most flattering look on the woman's face either.
