I am very pleased with the DOF I got from far behind the eyes to far in front of them. Practiced from 123 shots with varying settings. He was a bit docile...
I'm learning...and this wasn't a ribbon attempt, far from it.
Just getting to grips with my new DSLR and new glass...and the comments were great, helps me on the next attempt. I am very happy with the fact that I now know where the Sigma's sweet spot is f/8 to f/11, and weakness ( diffraction) beyond f/16. It is a magnificent lens for non-macro as well.
