CARTOON CARNAGE by GilesComment by m_a_r_c: The 'fake look' via topaz making toys look like real life vehicles works well. And the remnant shallow DOF because of the close range to subject gives it a 'tilt-shift' effect thrown in also.
I'll bet it's based on a real story that actually took place on a construction site?
The 'cartoon effect' was probably the only direction to go in from images of toys. In the CGI film Ice Age 1, to portray the mammoth's 'flash-back' memory, they had to animate crude cave wall paintings. I think you'd done a similar thing here.
