From the lines of the web and other edges, I think the focus seems good, but the color manipulation (at least I hope that's from post processing) distorts the image so that I'm not fully certain. (joke: what happened to the rest of the vehicle?) To me, this is overly processed...it looks more like a well done painting than a photo. (Was that your objective???) 6 Swash

Comment by LindaLee:
Unique take on the challenge. I find it odd to be looking at a "floating" car door, the shot feels somewhat surreal.

I don't like the oversaturated color of this pic. The rest of the door under the window really isn't adding to this pic so I might have tried to focus on the window. Cool web btw. - Inspzil

back in the CANDID challenge, while i was snooping around at the train station, i snapped a 'walkin dude' several blocks away with my 500mm - he came out nicely framed within a forest of signs and bushs, and i liked that look

this is that same stretch of street, taken from a diffrent angle - this time i stepped out into traffic to get the best view of the signs - using the 500mm stepped down, the DOF was also good enough to keep both extremes in focus - i believe that we're looking at almost 4 blocks here

all self shot - no assistants - i set up a patio chair and a propped-up hat-on-a-stick to get the focus close - then i brought out a nice big glass and a gallon of milk - the first try i missed my head completely, which distracted me because on the second try i got about half of the back of my head BUT i forgot to take the shot! 3rd times a charm (or as close as i was willing to go that night - yes it was after 9 PM and i was bopping aroung outside in a pair of swim-trunks)

A little overdone isn't it? Good composition, focus, and depth of field.
