yes, the cat is a picture, but it's not a black cat - it's an orange cat - inverted (the brown bg was originally kind of gun-metal blue) with his real eyes and nose layered in - did you know that if you're trying to get a nicely broken mirror, you can't just lay it on the ground and drop a billiard ball on it? they make glass pretty tough these days - i finally had to whack it with a hammer - arranged the cat photo over the mirror - 2 lights: 1 for the cat and 1 for the mirror

Of all the shattered mirror photos I've seen so far in this contest, this is the only one that actually works. Good composition, and good job throwing a black cat into the mix! Good job!
