Yeah, in hindsight I could've done lots more with this little guy (who lives on a shelf over my computer) -- and FYI -- I'm not afraid of him, but lots of people are ...
As to the question about the reflected spots on his back - those are grains of sand that either he or some of his food (crickets) have kicked up

Close to being a great shot. But unless you're afraid of just the legs of a spider.... (I know, I know... very picky.) I wish you could see more of this guy's face and not just the legs. You're close enough and have such a great definition of the hairs on the legs that I bet the eyes would look great.
