Domino Sugar Cubes Ad Gone Wrongby literaryradicalComment by fotomann_forever: I think it's funny how DrAchoo thought this shot was from me ;-) Well, it does seem like a shot I'd take, but well ya beat me to it. Good work on this one. It's hard to score high around here though with open shows of sexuality. BUT, look how many good comments ya got ;-)
Don't get discouraged, keep 'em coming.
BTW, this shot may have gained a few more points if you had used only the refrigerator light for lighting, shooting with your camera on a tripod at a long shutter speed. This would have definitely made it seem more like the girl had popped out of the refrigerator. Message edited by author 2006-01-05 23:56:27. |

Domino Sugar Cubes Ad Gone Wrongby literaryradicalComment by Jesuispeure: Hey crazy lady- what a way to start playing around on DPC! Always begin with a bang, that's what I always say...
Hope that the disparaging comments don't keep you from participating. DPC is, if nothing else, a good way to toughen yourself up to criticism, which you're going to need in NYC I fear!

Domino Sugar Cubes Ad Gone Wrongby literaryradicalComment by tinmason: She must have come down for a midnight snack and poooof! Out jumped the genie! Works for me! I gave it a 7. The title's a little miss leading...I would have tried...oh say....Midnight Snack. LOL! As a basic editing challenge there's not much more you could do to the image except go through your pockets looking for loose change! If this were an advanced editing challenge...I would try darkening the area behind the refrigerator and stove...possibly with the burn tool. I think this would accentuate the warm light from the refrigerator and the warm tones in the wood flooring. I like the concept of the image and the humorous side of it. The reason I gave it seven...get out the dry ice. Last but not least...although there is some nudity and kissing here...bless your little hearts...I don't believe the image is inappropriate for the challenge...portrayed very tastefully...pardon the pun! I would have given it a ten if dry ice vapor was coming from the fridge. Just a great image!! |
