Lovely colours. Well done composition and focus is good. Perhaps the arm is a little too centered in the photo. A little bit to the left could probably have done it. Perhaps this couldn´t be done because of other things at right. Overall a very nice photo. Good luck!

That's a lazy day! This one is done well, in that the arm stays the main point of focus even though there's a lot of other stuff in this shot. Everything else sets the mood of the arm, and the arm tells a story about the person in the tub with their arm stretched out. The shot is done well in terms of layout, but it seems to be lacking in quality. it looks really grainy, which is sad because it would be a really nice shot otherwise.

Well....okay, if you insist. But only if I can set up my tripod and camera and get shots of it...I REALLY need a good submission for the body parts challenge! ~Kate

Gee, Rob, you must have really photogenic feet!

I know I should try to be real objective when I am critiquing an image but 'Wow' this is a great photo. I am having a very hard time deciding what I don't like about it. Probably the biggest gripe I have is that it is your photo and not mine : ) I usually like color best in my photos but this one really is best in black and white because it keeps the focus squarely on the shapes, forms, and lines that are the essence of this photo. Color could have introduced an unwanted emotion. Besides being in black and white the other thing that stands out is the near perfect execution of the shot. The lines are very clean except for a slight hint of pixelation or stairstepping in one of the lower left shapes. The contrast gives it powerful impact without being exaggerated. The square cropping was very smart because it is neither a portrait nor a landsscape, it is abstract and thus does not need to be a rectangle. All and all, a great photo.

On the forum you commented that most of yours were B&W and the first one I look at is colored and I love it. It's so typical and IT"S IN COLOR, BEAUTIFUL in color. Did you try it in B&W. Bet it was nothing.
I do really like this and it is so well done, beautiful focus and not too sharp. Handing out the bag made this for you. Otherwise it was any drive through any where. Everyone recognized that "M". First time submission - ain't half bad. I'd a given it an 8 myself if I'd been on line back then. Do some more in color, you do well with it.

This is a pretty, dainty scene. The reflection is beautiful. There is enough tonal depth to work while maintaining an overall feeling of soft, feathery greys. A very nice photo. One of my 10s

This kind of all runs together. I wish we had something that stood out. I'm not saying it's a bad pic, I like it. I think it looks a bit abstract though. It would definately be a veyr hard puzzle to put together. The black and white is ok. I would like to see the color for comparisson though.Definately looks untouched by man. Good luck in the challenge.

Pleasant indeed :) I like the reflection in the water. Overall it looks just a hair too bright -- the snow on the bottom right seems just a little blown out to me.
