Sometimes the head on the foreground allows the reader to be part of the audience but sometimes it doesn't work. It doesn't work for me this time. Sorry. I like the action frozen on the turf though.

The colored light from the side really makes this special. It is more side lit than back lit but still the window at the top is beind the cross so I won't quibble. Nice work.

I love the 'framing' in this image. I am but a bit uneasy about not seeing the whole body. Well, of course, you don't need to show the whole body. But the crop or composition isn't right for me. If it was somewhere in the frame where it had some space to move around, I think it would look better. Again, for framing, I really like how you have approached it.
