Whoa, that's really cool! I love the reflection, the ripples, and the deep colors. There's a real sense of motion and perfection. I have no idea what the lemon's in, and that's what makes this shot really intriguing, I guess. :-)

Kind of interesting. the reflection is a little weird. I like the circles around it, I think they add a nice 'circle' feeling especially since the 'main subject' isn't a full circle, but rather implied. It could be only 1/2 a fruit for all I know. *wink*. anyway, focus seems a tad soft on the fruit, but the dof is nice. I see your reasoning for the selected crop, but aside from the challenge, I think a crop with the fruit to the left side of the photo might have been a bit more visually appealing. Color seems a bit duller than my brain says it should be, and the bright white areas on the white part of the peel are a bit distracting. Still neat looking though. ~Heather~
