Lioness on the moveby hubbardr1Comment by hubbardr1: Originally posted by DanSig: this is without a doubt the worst lion picture in this challenge, you can show movement without having the subject moved, try paning, that way you get the lion frozen in focus but the surrounding moved to show speed. |

Seems like people loved it or hated it. :) Thanks for all of the comments. These helped a lot. |

I expected to finish better considering I lost an arm trying to get this shot... Just kidding. :) Yes, I shot this from about 150ft at the zoo. |

Actually, nothing was added to this photo. For me, that is what made it special. I did brighten it up a little but other than that...this is the original. |

Lioness on the moveby hubbardr1Comment by kari1: I know that you have called this lioness on the move, but the picture does not seem to have a huge impact to me, as there is too much motion. |

Lioness on the moveby hubbardr1Comment by ShutterPug: The motion seems excessive on this shot - imho. Would like to see more detail in the face of the lioness, especially the eyes. I feel that the eyes really need to be sharp as they convey a message. |
