This is very beautiful. I can't tell by the photo, and I have never seen it before, so I'm going on your word that it's a new statue. Very nice detail and the light is ok. Wish it were a tad bit brighter, but who knows, then it might be too shiny. I like the angle this was taken at. Gives the detail of both the woman and the eagle. Great shot. Good luck with the challenge.

I wish there was a way to get this shot without the buildings in the background. The only thing I can come up with for correlating this to the challenge topic if that you are trying to portray the country's "new" sence of patriotism.....Am I close?

Neat sculpture.
The background takes away from this, as well as the people on the bottom.
Of course, even at a different angle we would still be left with a photograph of someone else's artwork.
