Fantastic shot... Lighting and composition are superb. Even though I think the challenge element is weak, the shot itself is beyond criticism. Next time I think a little bit of post-processing needs to be done, particularly cropping to get the best possible image.

These are different looking swings. I like how you have other things in the photo besides just the swings. The angle and lighting are great. very nice depiction of an aspect of childhood. Good luck in the challenge.

Lovely colours and nice angles to the frames.
I find the partially included horset things, the blue material at the left and the fence at the back distracting to the image of the swings themselves.

interesting shot :) This photo, like many others I see, could possibly have a higher impact if taken from a lower angle... like from the viewpoint of a child. Children see things from a different perspective than we do :) Making your photo from that same perspective could possibly create a higher impact in this challenge... good shot :) - jmsetzler

I like the composition here, except I wish the horses weren't in the background. Or at least no the one on the right. Alas, I imagine the city was probably not volunteering to reorganize their parks for your shot. I like the lines and angles in this photo. I also like the contrasting colors -- that's to be expected on a playground, but it's nicely captured. one of my 4 favorite swing photos -- each of which I tried to jusge on it's own merit. 7, just-married
