Great idea !! Kites were one of the first things that came to mind when I saw the challenge! I find the odd angle of the "horizon" to be very disconcerting. I almost think I would have like the shot better if the entire background was sky. lhall

I think that if you wanted the mirror in the photo that you might have wanted to back it up just a bit. It's a bit distracting from the rest of the photo. That is just my opinion though. I like the mirror in there, but it's a bit too close for my taste. I wonder why you went with black and white here. A lot of time people go with black and white when dealing with people and skin tones, but I like faces in color. You might have tried it and it didn't look good to you. I would like to see them both to compare b/w to color. I love the eye pencil idea. Other than the closeness of the mirror, the angle is great and lighting appears to be good as well. I like the angle so you can tell you are trying to look into the mirror. You have nice eyes and pretty lashes. They would make for great macros. Good job with the photo and good luck in the challenge.
