Excitement "Do you want a bone?"by bcobleComment by Philos: Although I don̢۪t say this is a bad picture I have scored this low.
Low in my book is not extremely low, but I guess there will be other people thinking the same way I do who don̢۪t leave a comment.
Don̢۪t take this the wrong way, this is my own opinion, and I am trying to let you understand what some voters may think.
In my opinion this does not meet the challenge, the description of the challenge: Take a picture that captures an emotion.
I looked hard, but I don̢۪t see an emotion. This could be my fault, but that̢۪s the reason why I voted lower as I would normaly do.

Excitement "Do you want a bone?"by bcobleComment by justine: This fits the challenge in my mind but I'm not fond of the lighting. Too strong. On my monitor your dog looks a bit blue? Of course that could just be me so take it with a grain of salt. :) |

Gear for Timeby bcobleComment by alanbataar: So close -- nice composition, far too much grain. Maybe too low light, maybe too much post-processing. |

Gear for Timeby bcobleComment by C_Steve_G: Tucking the subject into the corner seems to enhance the waste of space in the rest of the image. Perhaps if your gear was closer to one of those "Rule of Thirds" spots, the effect would be minimized. |

Hamilton Watch Company circa 1958by bcobleComment by Brad: I have absolutely no suggestions or ideas how to arrange 3 watches in a shot to make it interesting, so I can't say good or bad about the composition. Overall a bit dark and lacking in contrast. Green text is far too much of a clash for the shot in my opinion. (5)
