A nice capture and a funny title. The clasic black dog on a sunny day exposure conditiongs, but the dog is nicely exposed. I don't like the rendering of OOF elements in this shot: they are quie harsh; also, the bright spot on the ground is competing for my attention. I think that you needed to do something with the background to subdue it a bit.

Good work - the composition / cropping works really well. The shot looks a little noisy and soft though. Some work in a program like photoshop (or even picasa) would probably do wonders for this shot.

Great composition..... the whites are not blown and the background is prefect - the one thing that would take this shot to another level would be to have the focal point (bird) more crisp... but you gotta love 'his/hers expression
