I gave this an above average score, because I really like the "meaning" in it. The black and white really works here. This really brings out a sad emotion, so you have done a great job. It is unfortunate that the sky is so blown out though. That is really the only thing I can complain about here. Focus and everything are good. I'm not one who takes a lot of B/W photos, but I think that this image would have had a greater impact if it were a little bit darker in its composition, and if you opened the shutter a little wider to blur out more of the background. Overall this image has a strong statment.
