The beginning of day...by KitaComment by Skip: congratulations on your top 30 finish!
here's something to think about. on one hand, the softness adds a dreamy feel to your image. that can be good, especially if you have a real subject (like a person or a building). on the other hand, if the subject is the landscape itself, they typically look better a bit sharper.
i'm going to guess that you used a tripod. what you might want to experiment with is using the timer mode for shots like this. that way, you won't get the little blurring that the camera picks up when you click the shutter with your finger.

"Watch Dog"by KitaComment by owen: Good idea. Good exposure and expression on the dog. The only small let down is the right paw being covered up slightly. Well cropped too. |
