7/3 - In the Weedsby RebeccaComment by rachelellen: ah, the ubiquitous purple thistle. Good shot -- nice light and bokeh. I can identify with the "in the weeds" feeling, but not (ew) the craving for Taco Bell. ;-) (I'm the sole Taco Bell holdout in our family. Everyone else loves it.) |

7/3 - In the Weedsby RebeccaComment by UNTITLED: A common staple in any Colorado lot, field or pasture...pretty and ugly weed(they'll always be weeds to me) at the same time. Great analogy to go with your photo. The DOF is really nice...well done! |

7/1 - Putting the "Pain" in Paintingby RebeccaComment by krafty1: Nice eye! A great example of seeing the possibilities that surround us daily. I love the colors and abstract quality. My first thought was "Wow, great idea." My second was "Yep, been there, done that" followed by a big smile. Great shot! |

7/2 - A Pretty Bouquetby RebeccaComment by citymars: This is a beautiful photo! Good use of DOF. I like the contrasting reds, too. The bouquet fills the frame, yet the frame doesn't feel crowded. |

7/1 - Putting the "Pain" in Paintingby RebeccaComment by citymars: I tried for a terracotta color in my kitchen and ended up with orange. It took me about 24 hours to get used to it, now I love it.
Great way to start the summer -- and the challenge! I like the composition with the stripes balancing the square switch box. |
