I think it suits the idea for the contest. I like the composition and focus. I think what hurts it a bit is the sky. It's a bit blanched out and just kind of blah. On days when the light isn't right or the sky isn't pretty, it's hard to make it look otherwise. Maybe if shot from another angle where the line of trees were in the background and the sky was out of the shot altogether.

I have looked at this 3 times already, I'm not sure why I keep coming back to it. Something makes me keep looking. I'm not sure what it is, but I really like this photo. It seems to have leading lines drawing my attention to the ducks and a natural feel to it.
