Wow, I think that I have learned a great lesson in this particular challenge. It seems that the voters want "literal" and not an artsy statement. One person "got" my statement and said so. I think the rest of the voters prefer a very literal photo. I will not be trying these types of shots for these challenges again. And, the other thing I won't be trying again are the Free Studies! Wow, that's a lot of photos, with a lot of varying ranges to vote on. Too tough a field for me to crack!

All in all, I LOVE this shot because it has a lot of meaning behind it for me. And, while I'm disappointed with it's score (and really ticked at the 1's and 2's and even 3's on this shot as it didn't deserve that low a score)and placement, I will use it for other purposes now.

I thank those who truly "got it"!!!
